Beloved Dundee artist Hannah Laing has had a stratospheric few years. As a DJ, producer and founder of her label doof, Laing operates under a broad umbrella of techno, trance and hard dance. Everything she does needs to have that doof vibe - big hooks, delirious BPMs, euphoric melodies and earworm vocal riffs. She's consistently leaning into classics of each genre while looking forward and exploring fresh takes on the sound, too. That commitment to honouring the originators while also uplifting burgeoning artistshas earned her a widespread, devoted fanbase that embraces young first-time ravers alongside seasoned veterans.
At the time of writing, Laing has over 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and climbing to #7 in the UK charts. She has headlined her own 5,000-capacity Liverpool show, joined the line-up for Teletech at Drumsheds, and remains a regular on the lineup at some of the world's biggest clubs and festivals - from fabric, The Warehouse Project and Creamfields in the UK to CRSSD, Hideout, Beyond The Valley and Amnesia further afield. She is the founder of doof In The Park, her sold-out 17,000-capacity hometown festival in Dundee.
One thing's for sure - it's Hannah Laing's time, and we're all along for the ride.
